Online registration for 2025 will open in early February
A printable 8-page information packet with detailed information about how to get to NSP, what to expect when you arrive, where to stay, where to eat, etc. will be mailed out after you register and will soon be available for download. If you prefer to register by mail, please download and print this form.
Registration Information
- Order evening meals in advance, as state laws prohibit us from taking meal payments on-site.
- The popular T-shirts bearing this year’s theme are available with your registration. Sorry, no children’s sizes will be available.
- For insurance purposes, all NSP attendees must sign and date our liability release prior to returning the form.
- All vehicles entering park property must display a Nebraska State Park Entry Permit. You can order a permit with your NSP registration.
- Registration and Park Entry Permit fees are non-refundable. Payments for T-shirts and meals, however, are fully refundable prior to July 1st. Confirmation will be sent via email or post, along with detailed information to help you plan your trip to NSP.
- You’ll receive confirmation of your pre-registration along with detailed information for your planning by email or postal mail.
If you miss the registration deadline, you can still register onsite for the Star Party at Boardman’s Campground:
- Sunday 4:00 – 6:30 pm Central Daylight Time
- Monday 5:00 – 6:30 pm Central Daylight Time
- Tuesday 5:00 – 6:30 pm Central Daylight Time
Look for road signs indicating the Registration location along Highway 97 on the south end of the Merritt Reservoir. Bring a check or cash as we do not have the ability to process credit cards there.
On Wednesday, walk-in registration will be at the Valentine High School from 10:00 am – Noon.
Onsite registrations will be at full price, not prorated.
